1. How do I buy an item?
Simply sign up or log in, browse the marketplace, and click “Buy” on the item you want. Follow the checkout process on studside.com — it’s fast and secure.
2. What payment methods can I use?
Payments are processed safely through Stripe, the verified gateway integrated into StudSide. We do not store or process your payment information directly.
3. Can I pay or arrange a deal outside StudSide?
❌ No. For your safety, all payments and communication must happen only on studside.com.
Transactions made outside the website may result in account suspension or removal, and StudSide cannot protect you from scams or disputes.
4. How do I contact a seller?
You can message sellers directly through the platform before or after purchase.
Always keep communication within StudSide to stay protected.

5. How do I become a seller?
Click the “Sell” button after logging in to register as a seller.
Fill out your profile completely (including a photo) to avoid system errors.
6. What can I sell on StudSide?
You can list leather, faux, synthetic, or vegan leather items — including apparel, accessories, and related goods.
If you’re unsure of your item’s material, please list it as faux or synthetic leather to avoid confusion.
7. Are counterfeit or mislabeled items allowed?
No. Misrepresenting an item (such as fake or incorrectly labeled leather) may lead to listing removal or account suspension.
8. How do I get paid?
After a successful sale, payouts are sent automatically to your connected Stripe account.
Important: To receive payments, you must connect your Stripe account via the “Payments” menu in your StudSide dashboard. Click the “Connect with Stripe” button, follow the Stripe-hosted authentication process, and return to the marketplace.
Make sure your payment info is accurate and matches your verified account. Stripe may also verify your age and identity when you connect.
💵 Seller Fees & Payouts (Transparent Breakdown)
StudSide applies a 7% commission fee on the sale price of each completed order. This fee supports marketplace operations and community support.

9. What’s the age requirement to join StudSide?
You must be 18 years or older to buy or sell on StudSide.
We verify age during sign-up and when sellers connect to Stripe to keep the marketplace safe.
10. How do you protect my information?
We take your privacy seriously. Personal information (like name, date of birth, and contact details) is used only for account and transaction purposes — never sold or shared.

11. What if I suspect a scam or fake account?

We review reports promptly and may suspend or remove accounts that violate our Terms.

No — shipping, returns, and refunds are handled directly between buyers and sellers.
We recommend discussing shipping options clearly before purchase.
14. What happens if I break the rules or trade outside StudSide?
Violating our Terms — such as trading off-platform or posting prohibited items — can result in temporary suspension or permanent account removal.
15. Are there legal obligations or disputes I should know about?
StudSide complies with consumer protection laws in all countries where it operates.
Buyers and sellers are primarily responsible for resolving transaction issues directly.
StudSide may assist with disputes at our discretion but is not liable for conflicts between users.
